Great to meet you!

I have been a social worker for over 7 years. In addition to direct therapy, I have over 5 years experience in school social work. Feel free to ask questions if you or your child is having difficulty in the school setting.

I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I take an affirming approach to therapy. Clients can always expect an inclusive and empathetic approach.

My approach to therapy

Sarah is a social worker (LMSW) who specializes in working with children and adolescents, anxiety, depression, life changes, ADHD, ASD, and LGBTQ+ issues. Sarah has years of experience working with children 5 and older. She has experience with a wide range of backgrounds and needs.

Sarah's therapeutic approach focuses on collaboration with clients for their specific goals. Techniques include CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and practicing skills in session. Clients should expect an inclusive and empathetic environment.

Life has many challenges and changes we do not expect. Everyone should have the opportunity to explore how these challenges impact our lives in a safe environment. My goal is for clients to build on their strengths and find ways to make positive changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I intend to gather information about your goals and what you want out of therapy. My goal in a first session is to build a trusting rapport and help set expectations for future sessions.
