Great to meet you!

I want to help others struggling, feeling stuck and feeling weighed down by things going wrong. It's a myth that struggling is not a normal part of life, and that that struggling is something to be ashamed of. I can help by providing knowledge and skills to become persistent and resilient in order to get around setbacks and roadblocks, as well as identifying what a life worth living looks like.

I have a strong background in utilizing healthier thinking habits, more effective problem-solving skills, effective behavioral strategies to get past blocks and make progress to improve daily functioning, as well as increasing relaxation strategies to improve well-being and increased life satisfaction.

I would love a chance to work with you if you feel stuck, alone, or out of ideas on how to feel "good" again. I want a chance to help you learn more about yourself and why these symptoms are present and the best strategies to manage them for you.

I specialize in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders, depression, anger-management, and trauma.

I earned my bachelors in Psychology at Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan and my Master’s in Counseling degree at Spring Arbor University. After that, I began working in the mental health field as a home-based therapist for children and adolescents, adults, and families struggling with severe mental health symptoms. I then moved on to gain experience facilitating family therapy sessions and therapy groups at an inpatient setting in one of Michigan’s stand-alone psychiatric facilities before moving into private practice.

My approach to therapy

I utilize various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and is certified in Dialectic Behavior Therapy to facilitate healthy and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Patients can expect to feel uplifted, more curious and less avoidant, encouraged, and more motivated to meet personal goals and overcome setbacks and difficulties.
