Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered mental health care across the lifespan. With a strong background in nursing, advanced psychiatric training, and community mental health initiatives, she is passionate about helping individuals achieve emotional wellness, resilience, and meaningful life balance. Dr. Folorunsho creates a supportive and culturally sensitive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I provide individualized, patient-centered psychiatric care that is both evidence-based and holistic. I take time to truly listen and understand each person beyond their symptoms, considering their background, culture, values, and life experiences. My approach balances clinical expertise with compassion, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I focus on helping clients gain clarity, build insight, and develop practical strategies that lead to meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a thoughtful and thorough conversation where I take time to understand your concerns, history, and goals. This includes discussing your current symptoms, past experiences, lifestyle, and what matters most to you.

We will work together to:

  • Clarify what you’re experiencing
  • Explore possible diagnoses (if appropriate)
  • Identify your goals for treatment
  • Begin building a plan that may include therapy, lifestyle strategies, and/or medication if needed

Most importantly, the first session is a space for you to feel comfortable, ask questions, and begin building a trusting relationship. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and clear on the next steps.
