Great to meet you!

I'm Sarah Huffstetler, LCSW/LICSW, I completed my MSW at University of Hawaii at Manoa and was given an opportunity to learn through different cultural perspectives which i carry with me into my practice. I have experience with people aged 7 to 80, and use a combination of theories and treatment modalities in my practice to meet unique needs of each individual I work with.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I strive to create an atmosphere of support and comfort. I work from a client centered, trauma informed perspective and Pull from multiple therapy modalities such as CBT/DBT, Attachment theory and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

The goals of therapy are defined by the individual, and goals may change over time. Ultimately, I hope to create an environment and provide support and guidance, to allow people to develop a stronger sense of confidence in their ability to handle their life stressors, and to problem solve and make the best decisions for themselves.
