Great to meet you!
I have always wanted to help others have their unique stories heard, and to support them in embracing their true, authentic selves. This led me to pursue a Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where I first began to work with people with disabilities, autistic and ADHD individuals, and children and teens. After graduating, I earned my certificate in the S.P.A.C.E. Model (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), learning how to help parents effectively express empathy, encouragement, and confidence to lower anxiety in their children. I have also been trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, supporting couples in understanding and reconnecting with each other amid their biggest challenges.
(Note: I accept insurance for individual therapy sessions; couples' therapy sessions are billed out-of-pocket, and I provide monthly superbills that can be submitted to your insurance provider if your plan offers out-of-network reimbursement.)
