Great to meet you!

I have five years of experience providing trauma-informed care to children and adults. My practice focuses on working with clients seeking counseling that honors their spiritual or religious values. I hold both an MSW and an MDiv from Boston University, which allows me to thoughtfully integrate clinical expertise with faith-based perspectives when desired. I strive to create a compassionate, safe space that allows me to accompany clients as they journey towards healing.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative and compassionate process, where clients are invited to show up as they are and move at their own pace. I use open-ended questions to gently explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping clients deepen their self-understanding and find their own voice. I also incorporate psychoeducation to provide practical insights and tools, empowering clients to make informed choices and feel more confident in navigating challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our early work together, my priority is to create a safe, transparent, and collaborative environment where we can begin getting to know each other and building trust. I invite you to ask questions and share what feels important, while I also offer a clear overview of what to expect from the therapy process, including roles, pacing, and how we will work together. In the first session, I take time to listen closely and understand your unique needs, goals, and concerns. From there, we collaborate on a personalized treatment plan or “map” that helps guide our work and ensures our time together is meaningful and aligned with what matters most to you.
