Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker with experience supporting adults through a variety of mental health and life challenges. My professional background includes working with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I have a particular interest in working with women and individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel respected, understood, and able to be yourself without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I don’t believe therapy should feel like someone simply telling you what to do; instead, we’ll work together to understand what is happening, identify patterns that may be getting in your way, and develop strategies that fit your life. I’m comfortable having honest conversations while also creating a supportive environment where you can explore difficult experiences at your own pace. I incorporate CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches depending on your needs and goals. I especially enjoy helping clients build emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, healthier boundaries, and a stronger understanding of themselves.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you feel more capable of handling the challenges in your life—not simply to feel better for the moment, but to develop skills and insight that you can continue using long after therapy ends. Together, we may work toward reducing anxiety or depressive symptoms, improving relationships and boundaries, managing emotions more effectively, increasing motivation, strengthening coping skills, or making meaningful changes in patterns that no longer serve you. I want clients to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what they can do next. Most importantly, I strive to create a space where you can be honest about where you are while also feeling encouraged about where you can go.
