Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of Husson University, earning my masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. I also received an associates degree in criminal justice. I've been working for several years as an independent therapist since graduating. I have significant knowledge and experience with trauma and PTSD. I've also done work with anxiety, depression, grief, couples counseling, substance use, personality disorders, body and gender dysphoria to name some.

My approach to therapy

My approach in therapy is open minded and warm. I enjoy adding some humor. I'm also direct and to the point. I believe we are responsible for our own choices and lives and need to take active measures to make the changes we want and need. While I use an eclectic approach, I lean mostly towards reality/choice theory and CBT.

What you can expect from me

I like to set a tone for an open minded and judgement free environment while we get to know each other. My goal is to establish a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, heard, seen, and valued.
