Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions. My background spans hospice and medical social work, where I developed a deep understanding of caregiver stress, anticipatory grief, and the long arc of healing after loss. These experiences shaped my belief that people don’t need to face pain alone—and that compassionate, skilled support can make all the difference.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working extensively with Veterans and Military families, helping them manage service-related stress, reintegration challenges, trauma, and relationship strain. I also provide affirming, identity-safe care for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, creating a space where clients can explore who they are and what they need without judgment.

In my work with couples, I focus on communication, emotional safety, and rebuilding connection—whether partners are looking to deepen their bond, repair after conflict, or navigate major life changes together.

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices while tailoring therapy to each person’s strengths, values, and goals. Whether you’re moving through grief, managing caregiver responsibilities, facing relationship struggles, or seeking support during a major transition, I’m here to offer steady guidance and a safe place to grow.

If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, encouraging, and innovative. I blend evidence-based methods with creative, personalized strategies that honor each client’s unique strengths and goals. Whether you’re coping with grief, managing caregiver responsibilities, working through relationship issues, or seeking support as you redefine your path, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, empowered, and genuinely understood.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is all about creating comfort, clarity, and connection. We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to change, understand, or improve. I know beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, so I move at your pace—there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

I’ll ask some gentle, guiding questions to learn about your history, current challenges, and strengths. Together, we’ll start to identify themes, goals, and the direction you’d like therapy to go. I’ll also explain how I work, what you can expect from the therapeutic process, and invite you to ask anything—this is your space.

By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we can work together, the tools and approaches we might use, and the next steps in your therapeutic journey. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
