Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Sarah, and I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step, and I'm honored to be part of your family's journey.

In my private practice, I work with children, adolescents, and their caregivers to navigate emotional, behavioral, and family challenges using evidence-based strategies tailored to each family's unique needs. I provide a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where we look beyond behaviors to understand the underlying emotions and experiences driving them.

My approach to therapy

I believe that children, teens, and parents are capable of doing hard things, and that with the right support, every challenge can become an opportunity for growth.

My goal is to help children and teens build confidence, emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy coping skills while empowering parents with practical tools and guidance so they can feel confident and connected in their parenting. I believe lasting change happens when the whole family is supported.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, self-esteem, behavior concerns, or life transitions, I'm here to help your family build the skills needed to thrive. Together, we can turn today's challenges into opportunities for strength, confidence, and deeper connection.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know you and your family. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns, strengths, and hopes for therapy. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, your child's history, and the challenges you're currently facing. I'll also ask questions to better understand your family's unique dynamics, your child's emotional and behavioral needs, and what success in therapy would look like for you.

Together, we'll begin identifying goals and develop a plan that feels collaborative and personalized. You'll leave the first session with a better understanding of the therapy process and confidence that we're working together to support your child's growth, resilience, and your family's well-being.
