Sarah received her Master of Social Work degree with a clinical specialty from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. Sarah has gained experience working in the mental health field as a therapist and Medical Social Worker in a variety of different capacities for the past 15 years. Her work has involved providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy to assist clients w/ achieving their chosen goals while improving overall well-being .
Sarah uses a client-centered therapy approach that integrates empathy, mindfulness, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) techniques. Her work has included counseling with adolescents, adults, & geriatric patients.

Sarah is a supportive ally of the LGBTQ+ Community and offers a welcoming environment to all individuals, including clients of all gender identities. Sarah's focus has included the field of hospice care, where she has previously provided therapy/ grief support to terminally ill patients & their families for 8 years.
