Sarah Stein-Wolf

Hello! I have been working in the field since 2004. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state on North Carolina. I specialize in working with both adults and children. I do most of my work on anxiety, adjustment, trauma, grief and loss, parenting issues, and adults with family of origin issues.

My main goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental environment conducive to people feeling comfortable being vulnerable and moving toward change. I utilize person-centered approaches, with a cognitive and mindful flavor. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment approaches, EMDR, Brainspotting, and Play Therapy into my practice. I offer Sandtray Therapy (which uses physical images and metaphor to create insight). I am always striving to learn more to enrich my work with clients.

I strive to create an environment where people can be themselves and feel comfortable. I am warm, accepting, and respect each individual's needs. I often utilize humor, and I don't take myself too seriously. I strive to come across as real and relatable. I always keep in mind that you are the expert on yourself and your own family-- I'm here to help you access your own inner strength.
