Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who is deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s most difficult seasons with clarity, confidence, and purpose. I specialize in working with veterans, individuals facing trauma, and those navigating high-conflict relationships, divorce, or co-parenting challenges.

My background includes years of experience in education, coaching, and counseling, which allows me to meet clients with both structure and compassion. I understand what it means to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next—and I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.

For clients who desire it, I also offer a faith-based perspective, integrating Christian principles into the counseling process in a way that is both respectful and clinically grounded.

Above all, I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—one where you are empowered to grow, heal, and move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to meet your unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

I draw from evidence-based modalities such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

I also incorporate person-centered and psychodynamic approaches to help you better understand the “why” behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—not just manage symptoms.

In our work together, we will:

  • Identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck
  • Develop practical coping strategies you can use immediately
  • Process past experiences that continue to impact your present
  • Build healthier relationships and stronger boundaries

If desired, I can also integrate faith into sessions, helping you align your healing process with your spiritual values.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to feel comfortable, collaborative, and informative—not overwhelming.

We will:

  • Talk through what’s bringing you to therapy
  • Explore your goals and what you hope to gain from our work together
  • Review relevant background information at your pace
  • Begin identifying initial strategies or areas of focus

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in—that’s what we’ll do together.

Many clients leave the first session feeling a sense of relief, direction, and hope, knowing they’ve taken an important first step toward change.

If you’re ready to start making meaningful changes or simply need a place to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
