Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW from the University of Michigan and a Doctorate in Education from Baylor University. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, teens, and families, using a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach. My extensive background in inpatient psychiatry allows me to support clients with a wide range of mental health needs. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe, supportive space for meaningful growth. I primarily use a psychodynamic framework, helping clients explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape their current challenges. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, ensuring that clients feel empowered, respected, and in control throughout the therapeutic process. I also take a person-centered approach, tailoring each session to the individual’s needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we work to build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, calm, and supportive environment where they can share their story at a pace that feels comfortable. I focus on understanding a client’s needs, experiences, and goals while beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Using a psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, I help clients explore what brought them to therapy and identify the areas they’d like to focus on moving forward. A key part of the first session is establishing rapport and trust so clients feel safe and supported as we continue working together.
