Great to meet you!

You should know that I show up as my authentic self in the therapy space. I believe healing happens best when there is trust, safety, and genuine connection—not perfection. I will meet you with compassion, honesty, and respect, and I won’t rush your process or ask you to minimize your experiences.

I also value cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and accountability. I understand how systems, identity, and lived experiences shape mental health, and I approach our work with care and intention. While I am warm and supportive, I am also direct when needed—helping you notice patterns, set boundaries, and move toward the life you want.

Most importantly, you don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. You are welcome here exactly as you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. I believe therapy is a partnership—one where your voice, lived experiences, and goals guide the work. I honor both resilience and vulnerability, and I don’t believe healing requires pushing through pain or performing strength.

I integrate evidence-based practices with a real-world, relational approach, helping clients build insight, coping skills, and healthier boundaries while also making space for rest, reflection, and self-compassion. Our work moves at your pace, and I prioritize safety, trust, and honesty in every session.

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you—it’s about supporting you as you reconnect with yourself, process what you’ve carried, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will get to know each other, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and explore your goals. I will take the time to understand your experiences, needs, and priorities, and together we will begin to outline a plan for your healing and growth. You can expect a warm, safe, and judgment-free environment where your story is heard, valued, and honored.
