Great to meet you!

I value the development of a therapeutic relationship that is honest, transparent, non-judgmental and supportive, especially during the hardest times. I work with you, not for you.

My approach to therapy

In my work I aim to ensure that my patients feel connected, heard and supported as we work together collaboratively to decide on a treatment plan. Medication management is my specialty as I believe that the journey of deciding to take medication and which medication(s) is one which should be based in evidence and science, but also one based on your understanding of yourself, your personal goals and defined by what you want out of life. I strive for my patients to understand why a medication makes sense, what we can expect and to accompany you along the way on your journey to a better life.

What you can expect from me

While our conversations will mostly focus on your mental health and well-being, I find it important to touch on all aspects of your life including professional, exercise and diet, interpersonal relationships and spirituality, among other topics that naturally wiggle their way into conversation. Mental health is affected by all that we do and can be improved in many ways through many means. Collectively we all want happiness, and we need community, self-affirmation, and sometimes the right medications, to enable us to live the life we want.
