Great to meet you!

You deserve care that sees the whole of who you are. I'm Vannah, an LCSW in North Carolina who brings a feminist and social lens to therapy: how the systems around us shape us, how identity intersects with healing, and how creativity can open doors that talk alone sometimes can't.

My approach to therapy

Your first session is a real conversation: what brought you here, what you're hoping for, and what feels hard to name yet. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. I bring a feminist, systems-aware lens to everything we do, so we'll always hold your identity and the broader context of your life, not just your symptoms, in the room. By the end, you'll have a sense of whether we're a good fit and feel a little less alone with what you've been carrying.

What you can expect from me

My practice is grounded in feminist theory, the social model of disability, and attention to the interpersonal systems we each move through. I hold a Master of Arts in Gender and Women's Studies, where I explored therapeutic art practices that continue to shape how I work with clients. In sessions, I draw on Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, and a strengths-based lens, weaving in art therapy for those who process better through creativity.
