Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sayer, I’ve got a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University and have been working in the field for over 15 years. Most of my experience has been supporting folks from marginalized populations in rural communities, which has taught me a lot about resilience, strength, and the power of healing.

I see therapy as a way to build tools for facing life’s challenges, especially from a trauma-informed perspective. My main focus is working with the 2SLGBTQ+ community — helping folks explore their identities, feel safe in who they are, and work through the unique challenges of being queer in today’s world, where trying to erase us is all too common.

If you're looking for a therapist who gets it — someone who’s real, caring, and understands the importance of showing up authentically — I’d love to connect with you.

My approach to therapy

I prioritize building trust and rapport early in therapy, using a collaborative and client-centered approach. My work blends evidence-based practices with flexibility to meet each client’s unique needs. I focus on exploring and reconstructing personal narratives, helping clients undo limiting beliefs and craft empowering stories. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I provide a safe, supportive space for healing, and my primary focus is working with the 2SLGBTQ+ community. My goal is to create a respectful environment where clients feel validated, understood, and empowered to transform their self-understanding and foster resilience.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave our sessions with a greater awareness of their personal stories and a clearer understanding of how past experiences may influence their present beliefs and behaviors. They will gain tools to unlearn harmful patterns, reframe their narratives, and develop healthier, more empowering perceptions of themselves. Ultimately, clients can expect to leave each session feeling more self-aware, equipped with practical insights, and inspired to continue their healing and growth outside of therapy.
