Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who shows up with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. Think of me as the therapist who feels human, someone who listens deeply, honors your story, and helps you make sense of patterns that no longer serve you. As a Caribbean-American woman, I also understand the unspoken cultural layers that often shape how we cope, communicate, and carry our experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and empowered to grow at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends trauma-informed care, cognitive and narrative techniques, and a strong belief in self-awareness as a healing tool. I help clients explore the “why” beneath their thoughts, behaviors, and emotional patterns so they can build clarity, compassion, and confidence. I’m collaborative and conversational not a therapist who just nods silently and I value helping clients develop practical skills that support emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and self-trust.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about slowing down, breathing, and getting grounded. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you to therapy, explore key moments in your story, and begin connecting the dots between past experiences and present patterns. You can expect a calming, welcoming space where I guide with gentleness, ask meaningful questions, and help you leave with a clearer understanding of where we’re headed and how healing can unfold for you.
