Great to meet you!

Lately, drinking feels less like a choice and more like a coping mechanism that’s turned against you. Maybe it started during the pandemic—just a way to unwind, numb, or get through the long days—but now it’s harder to stop. You wake up anxious, ashamed, promising yourself this time will be different. I get it. You don’t have to hit rock bottom to want change. Through harm reduction counseling, we’ll work toward freedom—whether that’s drinking less or stopping completely—so you can finally breathe again and feel good about the life you’re living.

My approach to therapy

I help adults who feel trapped in the cycle of drinking, relapse, and self-blame—especially those who resist traditional treatment. In truth, treatment resistance often means you’ve been getting the wrong kind of treatment. With compassion and a harm-reduction approach, I meet you where you are to help you find what works and rebuild trust in yourself.

What you can expect from me

My first goal is to make sure your time spent in counseling is well-spent and worth the effort. My second goal is to give you something to think about between sessions. I think most of my clients come away feeling challenged, respected and heard.
