Great to meet you!

Seeking help isn't always easy, and I believe finding the right provider should feel like a good fit, not just another appointment. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my goal is to create a space where you can speak openly, feel genuinely heard, and know that we're working together as a team.

I enjoy caring for individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, OCD, insomnia, and other mental health challenges. I also help people navigate grief, life transitions, caregiver stress, and the emotional impact that chronic medical conditions can have on everyday life.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person has a different story, and treatment should reflect that. Whether we're discussing medication, coping strategies, or lifestyle changes, I want you to feel informed, comfortable asking questions, and involved in every decision we make.

My hope is that you leave each appointment feeling understood, supported, and with a clear plan for moving forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and centered around your individual goals. I believe mental health care works best when you feel comfortable being open, asking questions, and participating in decisions about your treatment. I take time to understand what is working, what is not, and what matters most to you so we can create a plan that feels realistic and sustainable.

I view treatment as more than medication management. When appropriate, I incorporate education, lifestyle factors, sleep, stress management, and practical coping strategies to support your overall well-being. I also work closely with primary care providers, therapists, and other members of your healthcare team when coordinated care can improve outcomes.

Whether you're seeking support for the first time or returning to treatment after a setback, my goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care while helping you build confidence in managing your mental health over time.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. My goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where you feel heard. We'll spend time discussing what brought you in, your current concerns, your medical and mental health history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment.

I encourage questions throughout the visit and want you to feel comfortable sharing what's on your mind. Together, we'll discuss treatment options, and if medication is appropriate, I'll explain the benefits, potential risks, and what you can expect moving forward. By the end of the appointment, you'll have a personalized treatment plan and a clear understanding of the next steps.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling listened to, supported, and hopeful about your care.
