Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Senay Tedla, a doctorally prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with extensive nursing experience in both medical and behavioral health settings. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, attention difficulties, and substance-use concerns. My background as a clinician and nursing educator helps me explain treatment options clearly and support clients in making informed decisions about their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, respectful, and centered on your individual needs. I take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, life experiences, strengths, and treatment goals before developing a plan with you. Depending on your needs, care may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, lifestyle strategies, and coordination with your other healthcare professionals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be a welcoming and judgment-free conversation about what brought you to care and what you hope to improve. We will review your symptoms, health history, medications, daily functioning, relationships, and any previous treatment experiences. By the end of the visit, we will identify your priorities and develop a personalized treatment plan together, while making sure you understand the recommendations and have an opportunity to ask questions.
