Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shakeda. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supporting adults and adolescents in feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves.

Many of the people I work with are used to holding it all together but may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or disconnected.

I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say; you can simply show up.

Whether you’re working through something from your past, adjusting to changes in the present, or figuring out what you need moving forward, we’ll work together to create a path that feels meaningful and manageable.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and person-centered. I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and experiences, helping you process what you’ve been carrying, develop healthier ways of coping, and better understand yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s been going on, what you hope to get out of therapy, and any goals you’d like to work toward.
