Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with my Master of Social Work Degree from the Joint Programs of Social Work at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have individual therapy experience working with people in inpatient psychiatric units, substance use clinics, and justice involved individuals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use an array of treatment modalities that best fit each individual. I commonly use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and rational emotive behavioral therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I expect my clients to be able to walk away from sessions with me and feel that they were able to release thoughts that were burdening them. I would also like for them to have a clearer understanding of what has happened in their lives and the next steps they would like to take to be the best version of themselves.
