Great to meet you!

Hello my name is Shamia Clark and I am looking forward to becoming your therapist. Being a therapist has always been a dream of mine, and I look forward to helping others become a better version of themselves. Although I strive to personalize every therapeutic experience, I go into every session with a clear mind and an open heart ready to receive others in a healthy and supportive manner.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is simply to meet clients where they are. I do implement homework over the course of our sessions together; however, I use homework as a tool to help the client become increasingly self sufficient over time. I want to help clients become more able to depend on themselves over time.

What you can expect from me

In working with me, my clients can expect to take away feelings of being seen and heard. More often then it should occur, clients can be disregarded in the therapy room; however, I make it my mission to meet clients where they are have a healthy understand of boundaries with them that makes the therapeutic relationship flourish over time!
