Great to meet you!

Now Accepting New FL, ME, and UT Clients! Sunday and Evening appointments available via secure telehealth.

Welcome! I believe healing isn't about becoming someone you are not. Its about reclaiming who you were created to be before life's deepest disruptions convinced you otherwise. You can benefit from my 21+ years of experience spanning both inpatient and outpatient mental health and medical nursing backgrounds that helps me look at the whole picture—how your emotional, physical, and relational worlds have come together to challenge you and benefit you. Whether you are navigating day-to-day stress, have lost your footing, or are working through deep-rooted trauma, we will explore both the challenges you face and the natural strengths you already possess.

As an LCSW, Registered Nurse, and PhD candidate, my approach is deeply integrative. I hold advanced certifications in trauma recovery (including TIST Level 3, Advanced EMDR, and the Flash Technique), and I have extensive experience helping adults of all ages and diverse backgrounds. While my core focus is trauma and PTSD (including complex dynamics like DID), I am equally passionate about supporting individuals managing depression, anxiety, chronic health issues, and major life or career transitions. Wherever you are on your path, I am here to help you heal and thrive.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions together, you can expect a calm, gentle space focused on emotional regulation and present-moment mindfulness as part of reclaiming space for yourself. I meet you exactly where you are each week. While we keep an eye on your long-term goals, we will always pace our sessions to ensure you never feel overwhelmed.

I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to what your mind and body need. My therapeutic style is designed to help you clarify your history, understand your relational roles, and connect with your core values, and overcome challenges. By teaching you actionable coping tools, I aim to help you reclaim a sense of safety, build emotional resilience, and discover the natural strengths you already possess.

What you can expect from me

When you join me for your first session, you are entering a true collaboration. Because starting therapy can feel overwhelming, we will take things one step at a time.

Here is what our first session will look like:

  • Welcome & Orientation: We will address any initial questions you have to help you feel settled and comfortable.
  • Holistic Assessment: We’ll explore your current challenges, your unique history, and the natural strengths you already possess.
  • Fit & Goal Alignment: We will discuss your treatment options and make sure you feel I am the right provider for you.

If you decide we are a good fit where you can feel safe and secure telling your unique, and sometimes complex story, we will spend the next two to three sessions co-creating a flexible, comfortable plan. I am committed to keeping our work together targeted and responsive to your needs, ensuring you always have an active voice in your own healing, as you discover your own voice for the first time or reclaim that valuable person that you are once again.
