Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Dr. Shani Glaudé, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of Soul Well Psychotherapy. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am licensed to provide therapy in Maryland and Virginia and offer individual therapy, couples support, clinical supervision, and private mental health workshops.

I specialize in helping adults navigate ADHD and executive functioning challenges, life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and struggles with self-acceptance. I also support couples working through communication concerns, attachment patterns, parenting transitions, infidelity, and other challenges that can affect emotional connection. My approach is integrative and may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, attachment-based interventions, Gottman Method principles, and practical executive functioning tools.

My approach to therapy

At Soul Well Psychotherapy, I believe meaningful growth begins when people feel seen, understood, and accepted as they are. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I often serve as a therapist, teacher, mirror, and translator of lived experiences—helping clients better understand their patterns, communicate their needs, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been buried beneath expectations, responsibilities, or survival.

My goal is not to fit you into a box or convince you that there is only one “right” way to heal. Together, we will create space for you to understand your whole self, develop strategies that work for your real life, and build a more authentic and meaningful relationship with yourself and the people you love.

What you can expect from me

After a 15-minute consultation to determine whether we are a good fit, our first session will focus on building trust and exploring what you hope to accomplish through therapy. During the assessment phase, I will work to understand your desired outcomes, how you learn best, and what helps you feel supported and confident as you challenge yourself throughout the process. Together, we will establish meaningful goals and identify practical ways to recognize and measure your progress.
