Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shanice! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor who believes therapy should be a space where you can feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other experiences that can make life feel overwhelming. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices while recognizing that therapy is never one-size-fits-all.

For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling that creates space for Christian faith and biblical principles to be meaningfully incorporated into the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and supported, while also being challenged to grow. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. We’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and identify practical steps toward meaningful change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, depending on your needs and goals. When faith is important to you, we can also incorporate Christian principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection in a way that feels authentic and supportive to you.

Most importantly, you don’t have to come to therapy with everything figured out. We can start right where you are

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to show up as warm, genuine, and engaged in our work together. I’ll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you look beneath the surface to better understand yourself and the patterns affecting your life.

Therapy with me is not about telling you what to do. We’ll work together to develop practical tools, healthier perspectives, and meaningful goals that support the changes you want to make.

There will be space for both support and accountability. My goal is for you to leave therapy not only feeling heard but also feeling more confident and equipped to navigate life beyond our sessions.
