Great to meet you!

I bring a diverse clinical background that includes work in child welfare, family therapy, trauma-informed care, and supporting survivors of sexual and physical assault. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Widener University and completed 3,200 hours of clinically supervised experience toward earning my LCSW license. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I regularly incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients build practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My style in working with clients is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and practical. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected while also gently challenging patterns, thoughts, or behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. I meet clients where they are, build on their strengths, and use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and CPT to give clients tools they can actually use outside of therapy. My approach balances compassion and support with accountability, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, confidence, emotional regulation, and meaningful long-term change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation where we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll begin identifying your goals, discuss what approach may work best for you, and make sure you feel comfortable, heard, and involved in the direction of your treatment.
