Great to meet you!

I am a 56 year old empty nest, dog mom who raised a daughter and two step children. I have been married for almost 17 years and learned a lot about myself through divorce, being a mom and a woman in an ever changing society. Going through menopause and a recent hysterectomy has led me to my passion of helping others be the best self we can be through the aging process. I have more than 20 years experience as a leader & mental health therapist. Over the past three years I have also become a certified Life, Health and Fitness Coach with an emphasis on the Generation X Population. My expertise is working primarily with women but have also supported men with aging challenges as well. I have found that balance in life and have learned how to prioritize myself while continuing to do what I love for work! Join me for coffee and we can talk!

My approach to therapy

My primary approach to therapy is Reality Therapy that os client centered with a combination of talk, resolution identification, relationship improvements, self care and the building of coping skills that are healthy and productive.

What you can expect from me

Sessions with me will be client driven, goal oriented and emphasize a positive, healthy approach to problem solving. Clients will leave sessions feeling heard, supported and equipped with strategies pertaining to dealing with emotions, behaviors, relationships, every day challenges and changes we are experiencing throughout the aging process.
