Great to meet you!

My name is Shannon, and I'm a psychotherapist providing individual therapy via telehealth in Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont. I have several years of experience working with adults on a wide range of behavioral health concerns, with a particular interest in anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, depression, relational challenges, and life transitions. This work often includes navigating identity exploration, relational challenges, and life transitions. No matter what brings you to therapy, my focus is on supporting you on your journey of healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My work as a therapist is rooted in curiosity about human connection and healing. I believe firmly in our capacity as people to adapt to and recover from adversity, and that support and connection are a powerful part of that process.

My approach is goal-driven and focused on real progress, while recognizing that growth takes time, trust, and vulnerability. I place a high value on building a strong relationship with you, one where you can feel both supported and challenged. My approach draws on evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to build practical tools with a strength-based lens that keeps sight of what you're already doing well, and Exposure Therapies for OCD and phobias.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel genuinely supported and understood. This will be the foundation of our work together. By the end of our first session, we will have established a shared vision of your goals and how we will approach them together. Each of our future session will be anchored to those goals, with a steady mix of support and challenge as you move toward creating sustainable change.
