Great to meet you!

For many women, life becomes about surviving instead of truly living.

You may have spent years putting everyone else's needs before your own, questioning your worth, struggling to set boundaries, or carrying the weight of painful experiences that continue to affect your relationships, confidence, and sense of peace. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, recovering from an unhealthy or abusive relationship, navigating parenting challenges, or working toward recovery from substance use, you don't have to do it alone.

I'm Shannon, a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping women heal from trauma, rebuild self-esteem, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to rediscover the strength that's been within you all along.

My approach to therapy

Healing begins when you no longer have to carry everything by yourself.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Together, we'll explore how past experiences—including childhood trauma, domestic violence, relationship patterns, or substance use—may still be influencing your life today. We'll identify the beliefs and coping strategies that once helped you survive but may now be keeping you stuck.

Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, we'll work to strengthen your confidence, establish healthier boundaries, improve relationships, and develop practical tools that help you move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

I believe therapy isn't about changing who you are—it's about helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels confident, safe, and worthy of the life you want to build.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you've spent a long time carrying everything on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel accepted without judgment and supported every step of the way.

Many of the women I work with come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to prioritize themselves after years of caring for everyone else. Together, we'll work toward building self-confidence, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and a greater sense of peace and purpose.

Therapy is a partnership, and I will meet you where you are while encouraging growth at a pace that feels right for you.

You deserve relationships that feel safe, boundaries that honor your needs, and a life that isn't defined by your past. If you're ready to begin healing, rebuilding your confidence, and creating a future that feels more aligned with who you are, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
