Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychotherapist with more than 12 years of experience in private practice and currently see clients in Arizona and Nevada. While I work with a wide range of issues and populations, much of my recent work has focused on adults ages 20 to 35, particularly around relationships and personal growth.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate relationship challenges, relationship addiction, finding their voice within relationships, healing after breakups, and becoming the healthiest, most authentic version of themselves while in partnership with others.

Another area of passion for me is working with older adults who are facing major life transitions or serving as caregivers for an ill spouse or aging parent. I also specialize in trauma and PTSD treatment, helping clients heal from some of life's most painful experiences.

When I am not in the therapy office, I enjoy teaching psychology courses at the local college, combining my love of education with my commitment to supporting growth and resilience across all stages of life!

My approach to therapy

I am especially interested in emotional patterns — particularly the ones that show up in our relationships.

What is the dynamic between you and the people you love? What patterns keep repeating? How did you learn to love, to trust, to set boundaries, or perhaps not set them?

My style is both direct and warm, and I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation rather than a lecture (I save those for my classrooms!).

My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply so that you can make choices that truly serve you — choices that are aligned with your values, and the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

We jump right in — no lengthy phone screening beforehand. Our first session is a full hour where I get to know you: what's going on, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I'll ask about your relationships and the patterns you've noticed, and we'll start building a picture together of where you are and where you want to go. You'll leave with a sense of being heard and a clearer idea of what working together will look like.
