Great to meet you!

Sometimes life just feels harder than it used to. You may be grieving a loss, feeling lonely, struggling in a relationship, caring for someone you love, facing a career change, or simply wondering why you don’t feel like yourself anymore. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes having someone to talk with—someone who will listen, offer perspective, and help you make sense of what you’re feeling—can make a real difference. I’m an experienced trauma therapist and Certified EMDR Therapist, with extensive experience helping people heal from trauma and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

I work with individuals facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and trauma. I also help clients improve communication and develop healthier relationship patterns. My trauma work has included survivors of mass shootings, first responders, professional athletes, and others living with PTSD. I also use EMDR therapy when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

We jump right in—no lengthy phone screening beforehand. Our first session is a full hour where I get to know you, what’s going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like to change. We’ll talk about your relationships, experiences, and any patterns you may be noticing, and begin making sense of things together. My style is warm, direct, and conversational. My hope is that you’ll leave that first session feeling heard, with a little more clarity and a sense of where we can go from here. I look forward to meeting you.
