Great to meet you!

My name is Shannon Trainor, and I bring over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy to provide practical, individualized care. I meet clients where they are, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space while helping them identify meaningful goals and develop clear strategies for growth. I believe in balancing compassion with accountability, empowering clients to make lasting changes and achieve their full potential.

What you can expect from me

I work collaboratively with clients to identify individualized treatment goals and develop strategies for achieving them. By meeting clients where they are, I foster growth, support meaningful behavioral change, and help clients remain accountable to their goals.
