Great to meet you!

I became a therapist to help hold that emotional weight with care. I offer virtual therapy with weekend and limited evening availability, creating space for adults who need steady, compassionate support as they move through loss and major life transitions.

My work centers adults who are carrying loss, overwhelm, or long-standing emotional pain that feels hard to manage alone. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and am licensed in North Carolina and New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With more than 15 years of experience across outpatient, group, and intensive settings, I now focus on helping adults navigate grief, trauma, and the identity shifts that often follow major life changes.

I am especially passionate about supporting Black women, Black men, Veterans, and adults of color who often hold invisible emotional burdens. My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and deep respect for your lived experience. Together, we create a space where your story is honored, your strengths are recognized, and your healing has room to unfold at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I believe therapy should feel like a steady space where you can talk openly, explore what you’re carrying, and move at a pace that feels right for you. Grief and trauma can reshape how you think, feel, and relate to others, so I tailor each session to your needs and what feels most supportive in the moment.

I draw from CBT, DBT skills, solution-focused strategies, and humanistic approaches, along with grounding tools that help you manage emotional intensity and feel more anchored. My goal is to help you feel understood, build coping skills you can rely on, and create meaningful shifts in how you move through your day-to-day life.

All sessions are virtual, with evening and weekend availability to make therapy accessible during seasons when you may need additional support.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space to talk through what you’ve been carrying. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, what you’re experiencing day to day, and what feels most important for you right now. Many clients share that they leave the first session feeling more understood, emotionally steadier, and clearer about their needs.

Whether you’re navigating grief, emotional overwhelm, or the impact of past experiences, I’ll help you begin to make sense of it at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we’ll start building a foundation for support, coping, and healing.
