Great to meet you!

Therapy works best when you feel like the person across from you actually gets it — not just the situation, but the weight of it. I specialize in working with adults navigating postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy loss, grief, identity shifts, and the kind of slow-burn anxiety that shows up in every corner of your life. I'm a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland, and I offer telehealth sessions statewide. My style is direct but warm — I'll listen carefully, ask the right questions, and help you build tools that actually work outside the therapy room. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some sessions we'll go deep; others we'll be practical. Always, we'll go at a pace that's right for you.

My approach to therapy

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based approaches — choosing what fits where you are, not what's easiest to apply. I pay close attention to how grief, body experiences, and life transitions intersect with mental health, especially for adults in the postpartum period or navigating reproductive loss. I'm particularly passionate about helping clients develop self-trust: the ability to recognize what they need, set boundaries, and move through hard seasons without losing themselves. Motivational Interviewing shapes how I engage with ambivalence — I meet you where you are, not where I think you should be.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low pressure. I'll ask about what's been going on, what's brought you to therapy now, and what you're hoping to get from our work together. You don't need to have the "right" answers — there aren't any. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling like you made the right call reaching out, not like you have a homework assignment. From there, we'll build a picture of what you need and shape a plan that's actually yours. Sessions are 45–50 minutes over telehealth, and I see adults across Maryland.
