Great to meet you!

I am a person centered, trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR, TF-CBT and DBT with over a decade of experience. I founded LegaCEE Counseling and Consulting in 2019 after noticing the oversight of minority individuals and families, their culture and their mental health needs. I currently work with adolescents, teens and young adults desiring to process through trauma, make behavioral changes, dealing with life adjustments and/or in need of affirmation and support.

My approach to therapy

I believe in providing individualized care that encompasses experiences, culture, and more. While I consider myself to be competent and cultural versed, I approach therapy as a partnership with you. We work together with you being the expert of your journey while I provide clinical support through education, guidance and redirection. My goal is to provide a space that is welcoming, judgement free and validating.

What you can expect from me

First sessions typical consists of introductions and a brief review of your needs and/or goals. You will have the opportunity to ask therapy specific questions and share any concerns you may have. Remember, the goal is for you to feel supported and heard.
