Great to meet you!

What I most want you to know about me is that my ability to help you heal draws from a place much deeper than textbooks or clinical degrees. While I have spent over thirty years studying counseling theories and mastering therapeutic tools, my truest credential is my own humanity. I know what it means to live through life's hardships, and I intimately understand the heavy weight of pain, the disorientation of trauma, and the courage it takes to navigate your way back to solid ground.

I don't look at your struggles from a detached, clinical distance. Because I have walked through my own seasons of challenge and actively done the work to heal, I can meet you in the dark with genuine empathy, not just theoretical answers. This lived experience gives my practice a unique edge; it means I see you, I hear you, and I truly get it.

Our challenges do not define us, but working through them can reveal a profound inner wisdom. I am living proof that healing is possible, and my deepest hope is to empower you to reclaim your own strength. We will use both my professional expertise and my deep understanding of the human experience to help you uncover clarity, build resilience, and step into a more fulfilling, grounded life.

My approach to therapy

I walk alongside individuals as they navigate life’s complex challenges. My therapeutic approach is warm, interactive, and rooted in authenticity. I believe in the quiet power of holding space—creating an environment where you feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I meet each person with compassion, respect, and sensitivity, while also offering gentle, honest reflection to support your growth.

My approach is eclectic and intuitive, drawing from cognitive-behavioral (CBT), humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive therapies. At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: you already carry within you the wisdom you need. My role is to help you reconnect with that inner knowing—supporting you as you uncover clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together is a gentle, welcoming space designed entirely around your comfort and emotional safety. There is absolutely no pressure to have everything figured out or to dive into deep topics right away; we will simply get to know one another at a pace that feels entirely right for you. Together, we will explore what brings you to therapy at this specific moment in your life, looking at the challenges or transitions you are navigating while honoring the full story of who you are.

We will also talk about your hopes for the future and what a more fulfilling, grounded life looks like for you, ensuring our time together always aligns with your personal goals. You will have plenty of room to ask me questions about my experience or how we can use my eclectic approach to best support your unique path. My hope is that by the time our first session concludes, you will leave our virtual space feeling a genuine sense of relief, deeply heard, and filled with a renewed hope for the meaningful change ahead.
