Sharon Dickey

Hi, my name is Sharon Dickey. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and I am excited to offer my counseling services to you! I am a graduate of NC A&T SU where I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology. I received my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Addictions Theory from Capella University. I enjoy working with children and adults ages 12 and older helping them develop skills to increase their ability to manage their mental health symptoms.

I specialize in diagnosing and treating clients who have anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), personality disorders and other behavioral and emotional disorders. I am organically a person-centered clinician, where I focus on providing empathy and compassion for my clients, while providing empowerment, motivation, and inspiration.

I believe exploring your past childhood experiences could help to bring enlightenment and understanding of your current adult personality and relationships. As your therapist, we will work together to discover and understand where you are in your life right now, how you got there, and create a workable plan to get you to where you ultimately want to be.
