Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and supervisor (LCMHCS) in the state of North Carolina, with over ten years of experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Agency Counseling, both from Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association. You can learn more about my credentials online at Psychology Today (search therapists).

My approach to therapy

My theoretical orientation heavily emphasizes present-focused, mindful, and person-centered approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I focus on the human potential for growth with an emphasis on freedom, meaning, self-determination, choice, and responsibility.

What you can expect from me

You are invited to a safe space where you can share your most intimate issues. Together, we will develop healthy coping mechanisms that will help you move passed or better deal with your intricate life concerns. If doubts and life transitions have become too much to handle on your own please allow me the opportunity to actively listen without judgment providing support and professional guidance.
