Great to meet you!

About Dr. Jones-Daggett "Dr. Jones":

I am an established psychiatrist, and am dedicated to assisting clients in achieving quality of life and balance by addressing their psychiatric needs. I offer holistic treatment modalities and/or psychotropic medications to augment therapy work.

I am certified in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, primordial sound meditation, yoga nidra, meditation, guided imagery and reiki energy work. CBT trauma therapy is also available for those with traumas and PTSD. I also practice other introspective and spiritual methods in my practice, such as hypnotherapy and chakra balancing. The needs of the client are my priority. What also makes my practice unique, is that I am also a canine psychiatrist and see many furry clients; I am known as a “dog whisperer” to my furry client’s pet parents. I offer emotion support animal (ESA) registration for my patients who desire extra support within their home.

I am a psychiatrist for humans and canines and have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. I do telepsychiatry/videoconferencing and possess the ability to care for clients worldwide.

My approach to therapy

I guide my clients so that they feel comfortable with me while they divulge personal and private events affecting their mental health.

I am professional, personable, empathetic and caring; we work as a team and the client participates in their own care as they know their body best.

I treat and guide the client through mental health issues such as: Major depression, Bipolar I & 11, Anxiety, Panic episodes, Social/participatory anxiety, Post traumatic stress/trauma, Attention deficit and hyperactivity, Psychosis, Schizoaffective bipolar type or depressive type, Schizophrenia, Substance misuse

What you can expect from me

  • My clients/patients get to know themselves, and where and why their mental health issues began.
  • My patients become strong and confident team members in their mental health care.
  • My patients become able to participate in life, personally and professionally with confidence and pride.
  • My patients become able to manage stressors in a healthy manner utilizing their coping skills, and my teaching and guidance.
  • Eventually my patients become able to navigate on their own, with my welcomed and ongoing guidance as needed, and with routine follow-up appointments.
  • Our goal is to ensure that they do not fall or return to the state that brought them to me in in the beginning, and that they continue to grow and maintain quality of life.
