Shatira E. Champion is a Triple Board-Certified licensed psychotherapist licensed in Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. She holds board Qualified Supervisor (QS) credentialing in Florida and is the proud owner of Safe Space to Struggle Counseling and Consultation Service, LLC. She is well versed in areas of adjustment, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, work/life balance, college students, couples, and persons within the LGBTQ+ community. Her passion is providing exceptional mental health care to marginalized populations.

Mrs. Champion’s theoretical approach is multifaceted as she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapies, and more. Her mission is to promote help seeking behaviors and to eradicate myths associated with counseling. While providing support through problem identification, solution rigor and empowerment, Mrs. Champion aims to be a catalyst in promoting cognitive, social, emotional, and personal growth through implementation of a holistic approach to self-care and wellness.
