Great to meet you!

Serving Virginia and Maryland virtually. Life can feel heavy at times, especially when you’re trying to balance responsibilities, relationships, school, work, family, or simply figuring out who you are and where you’re headed. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, communication issues, setting boundaries, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands. You do not have to navigate those challenges alone. My goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and work toward creating a life that feels healthier, more balanced, and more fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working with young adults, teens, adults, and couples who may be struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, or feeling stuck. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your life and better equipped to handle the challenges that come your way. I provide a laid-back, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment, while also helping you stay accountable to the goals you want to reach. Therapy with me is practical and focused on real-life change, using realistic coping tools and manageable homework that can fit into your everyday routine. I use approaches such as CBT, trauma-focused interventions, mindfulness, solution focused, faith-based approaches when desired, and other strategies tailored to your individual needs. I am licensed and accept clients and insurance in Virginia and Maryland.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a better understanding of themselves and practical tools they can use in everyday life. Together, we’ll work on identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck, building healthier coping skills, improving communication, strengthening boundaries, and creating realistic goals for change. Therapy is focused on meaningful progress, so you can also expect manageable strategies and homework assignments designed to help you apply what we discuss outside of session and continue moving toward the life you want.
