Great to meet you!

Life can feel heavy at times—whether you’re coping with past trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, managing bipolar disorder, or just feeling overwhelmed by daily stress. You may find yourself stuck in painful patterns, unsure how to move forward, or exhausted from trying to hold it all together. Therapy can be a space to finally set that burden down and begin healing.

I specialize in helping adults navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Using a compassionate and collaborative approach, I tailor sessions to meet your needs through EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based methods. My goal is to help you understand your experiences, build practical coping tools, and restore a sense of balance and confidence in your life.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri and Oklahoma, offering teletherapy sessions to make care accessible and convenient. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. You don’t have to go through this alone—reach out today and let’s start your path toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique journey. I believe healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences without judgment. Together, we’ll work to uncover patterns that keep you feeling stuck and build practical tools to help you cope and grow.

I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including EMDR to help process trauma and reduce distressing memories, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, Solution-Focused Therapy to identify strengths and create actionable steps forward, and Motivational Interviewing to support lasting change from within.

Every person’s story is different, so I tailor each session to your needs—whether that means creating space for deep emotional healing, developing coping strategies for anxiety and depression, or simply helping you navigate life’s stressors with more confidence and clarity. My goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and hopeful about your future.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space for you to simply be yourself—no pressure, no judgment, and no need to have it all figured out. We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. You’ll have the opportunity to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and together we’ll begin to identify your goals and what support might be most helpful for you.

I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you might have about the process, and help you feel at ease with the format—especially if this is your first time in therapy or trying telehealth. The focus of our first session is on understanding you: your experiences, your strengths, and what you need most right now.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer direction for moving forward—whether that’s addressing trauma, easing anxiety or depression, managing life’s stressors, or finding new ways to feel balanced and grounded. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.
