Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience spanning the Department of Veterans Affairs and private practice, working with a wide range of people navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, and life's everyday struggles. My path here wasn't a straight line, I spent years as a first responder and in the military before training in mental health, and that background shapes how I show up with clients, direct, warm, and occasionally with a bit of humor, because healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. I bring a person-centered foundation together with CBT, DBT, prolonged exposure, and cognitive processing therapy, tailoring treatment to fit you, not the other way around.

My approach to therapy

I genuinely care about the people I work with. I understand therapy gets heavy sometimes, and I understand progress isn't always linear, some weeks may feel slower than others, and that's a normal, expected part of the work. I'm here for all of it. Life is complex and nuanced, and I'm willing to dig into the weeds with you, wherever that takes us, because this is your process and I'm walking through it alongside you.

What you can expect from me

Before your first session, you'll complete intake paperwork that helps me understand your goals coming in. In our first meeting together, we'll go over that intake information, make sure any urgent matters are addressed, and start shaping our work together based on where you are in that moment. You lead the direction, I'm there to listen, ask the right questions, and help build a plan that actually fits your life.
