Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be yourself without judgment. I work with teens and adults across the lifespan, with particular experience supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and the challenges that come with change. My background in education has given me a deep understanding of the pressures people face at different stages of life, while my counseling training allows me to support clients in finding greater clarity, confidence, and balance. I strive to create a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and collaborative, while helping clients recognize their strengths and move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you better understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be getting in the way of what you want. I draw from CBT and solution-focused approaches to help you turn insight into practical, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask more questions than I typically will in future sessions to learn about your experiences, strengths, challenges, and what you hope to change. We’ll also use a few brief screeners and assessments to establish a baseline and help guide our work. While the first session has some structure, I want it to feel conversational and comfortable. You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll take it one step at a time.
