Great to meet you!

When a child, teen, or family is struggling, it can affect every part of daily life. You may be noticing emotional changes, behavioral challenges, increased conflict at home, difficulties at school, or a growing sense that something just doesn't feel right. It can be hard to know how to help, especially when the strategies that once worked no longer seem effective. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, OCD, eating disorders, and behavioral concerns. Many of the families I support are looking for practical solutions while also wanting to strengthen communication and connection. My goal is to create a supportive space where children, teens, and families feel understood, build on their strengths, and develop healthier patterns that promote resilience and long-term emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. I believe meaningful change happens when children, adolescents, and families feel safe, supported, and actively involved in the process. I draw from Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Somatic approaches, Play Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy to tailor treatment to each family's unique needs. Together, we'll strengthen communication, build emotional awareness, and create practical tools that support healthier relationships and improved daily functioning. My goal is to help clients understand and build on their existing strengths while creating meaningful changes that improve life at home, school, and within important relationships.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you and your family feel safe, respected, and understood. I strive to create a collaborative experience that is tailored to your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals, strengthen communication, and develop practical skills that support long-term growth and emotional well-being. My hope is that therapy helps children, teens, and families feel more connected, confident, and capable of navigating life's challenges. I want clients to leave sessions feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with tools that improve everyday life both now and in the future.
