Great to meet you!

When life feels overwhelming, you may notice it affecting your relationships, emotions, and sense of self. You do not have to navigate those challenges alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping adults and seniors work through trauma, anxiety, panic disorders, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, anger management, relationship concerns, and family challenges. I have worked with individuals and couples throughout the lifespan and have extensive experience supporting military personnel and their families through trauma, transition, and resilience. I am also an EMDR certified therapist who understands that meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

You are more than the challenges you are facing, which is why I take an integrative, client centered approach tailored to your unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Somatic Therapy, Sex Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, CBT, Family Therapy, and Behavior Modification Therapy. Together, we can explore the patterns affecting your relationships and emotional well being, process difficult experiences, improve communication, manage emotions, and develop healthier ways of responding. My goal is to help you foster healing, strengthen your relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a place to feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, relationships, current challenges, and the changes you hope to make. From there, we will work together to develop a treatment approach that feels realistic, comfortable, and meaningful to you. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Taking care of your mental health can be one of the greatest gifts you give yourself and the people you care about, and I would welcome the opportunity to take that first step with you.
