Great to meet you!

I love animals, nature, yoga, and exploring new places. As challenging as life can be, I never tire of its beauty.

I have been proving psychotherapy for over 30 years, taught graduate school, provided public speaking engagements, and worked with a wide variety of people with varying life challenges. Every person has their own unique story... I want to hear yours.

My approach to therapy

My assumption in therapy is that most people get "stuck" because they don't have the skills to change. I challenge and encourage you to do what is uncomfortable. We will dive right in, explore your strengths, what gets in your way of achieving your goals and explore what you are avoiding. I will incorporate a variety of strategies along this therapy journey including: cognitive challenges, creative exploration, journaling, and strategic homework.

What you can expect from me

Each session will be an opportunity to learn and grow, view your life slightly differently, try a new technique, even learn to sit with discomfort. Homework practice skills will be provided so you can practice what you have learned. There is no guarantee in therapy... only the opportunity for change. Are you ready?
