My approach to therapy

I am also a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and have experience working with those struggling with addiction and recovery issues. I also worked as an Alateen sponsor for 11 years mentoring children who grew up in homes where addiction was present.

I use an integrative style of therapy that may start with emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Brief Solution Focused Therapy but may branch out to encompass other constructs as we progress.

What you can expect from me

I use a collaborative and integrative approach that promotes a strong alliance this promotes honest communication.

Within this framework clients develop the freedom to challenge behaviors and beliefs which help them that promote change.

My goal is to assist clients in gaining the knowledge and tools to reach their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives.
